Belle Harbour Newfoundlands

We currently have 2 girls bred to JoJo. These two breedings were completed right b4 the virus panic started. Both girls are due in April which would have puppies going home in June. Larry and I are both high risk so we have locked down our acreage for the most part. No one comes or goes. We are doing any small shopping locally and not venturing far. Fortunately, we had completed our monthly shopping on the first of the month so we haven't needed a lot. Dog food is delivered from chewy and we pick it up at the feed store down town. They leave the food on the outside of the building so we don't even have to see anyone. We wash hands constantly, just in case. We have always quarantined puppies when they are born and they don't even go outside until they have had their first shots. No one handles them except the two of us. Because of this virus scare and since the virus could potentially live on a puppies coat for a little while at least this is a good thing, something we do anyway. If this extends beyond the take home date for these puppies we will meet new owners downtown in Winnebago to make sure everything stays virus free here. Your puppy will be free of any virus since there is no way he/she can be exposed to anything the way we are doing this. As far as breeding plans, we will make a decision if we will do all of the breeding we had planned or not when the girls come into season. It will just depend on how things go. We don't want to land with alot of puppies that don't have homes. On the litters page, I have updated the two breedings that have been done and the ones that are pending. If you think you still want a puppy, please let me know. If you are thinking you want to wait, please let me know. In the mean time, stay safe. Follow the recommendations and please take this seriously.

Best Wishes,

Dawn and Larry Blaine

GCH Belle Harbours Radiant Mariner

It all started with one very expressive newfie puppy and a newfoundland breeder who needed help showing her dogs. Newfies are addictive, you soon find you need another. Once we finished Bo, we were hooked. Newfoundland dogs became a passion, a commitment to strive to produce healthy happy Newfoundland puppies. We are now breeding to produce show quality newfies that we can exhibit in the ring, of course there are always a few newfie puppies that we can share with others who are committed to making a Newf part of their family. We do not keep a large kennel, we live with our dogs and would like anyone acquiring a Newfie puppy from Belle Harbour to do the same.

Newfie PuppiesBelle Harbour Newfoundlands got its name from the harbor that was just west of our Clear Lake, Iowa home. In October of 2012 we acquired 42 acres in Winnebago Minnesota. The move was done with our newfies in mind. We selected the property with the happiness and comfort of the dogs as a priority over our own. Their new home includes 42 wooded acres, a pond and a river runs through the property.

We are members of the Newfoundland Club of America, North Central Newfoundland Club and the American Kennel Club through the Key City Kennel Club in Mankato, MN. We are actively involved in AKC conformation shows and a few of our puppies are active in water work and other competitive events with their owners. We will be exhibiting our dogs in the Mid-West and invite you to visit us anytime.

Newfoundland Puppies are at Belle Harbour throughout the year.  Submit your application for a Newfie Puppy and then give us a call for approval status. All of our dogs are examined by board certified cardiologists for healthy hearts and xrayed to insure healthy hips and elbows before breeding.
